How is Coaching Different from Counselling or Consulting?
Coaching is not counselling or therapy which tends to focus on the past and look at issues historically nor is it consulting which generally involves coming up with expert opinions and answers. However, coaching does use techniques derived from clinical psychology.
Coaching though is more action-oriented and solution-oriented and focuses primarily on both the present and future. The "answers" that you are looking for come about through the work done in the joint coaching partnership.

Health Retreat at Home Check-in Service
In addition to coaching sessions, all membership levels include a check-in and prompting TEXT service to support clients in between sessions. Our mission is to help you implement a personalised plan at home without having to go anywhere as that's where the real challenges & changes occurs. We understand further support is highly beneficial for members and their success and it can feel like a long time in between focus sessions with your coach. That's why we have partnered up with Member Planet (a membership management system) where you can access all the information relevant to you at your fingertips but also receive TEXT message prompts and support from a real person, your coach!
**Please note all membership fees incur a surcharge of 1.75% = 0.30c (as per Stripes pricing structure and policy. Health Retreat at Home Partners with Stripe paymens to ensure a secure and simple payment system for all members.
* Focus sessions - 45min coaching sessions where members work with a coach to discuss their needs, goals and barriers to change. The session ends with a defined goal/habit to be implemented and a game plan that you take away and put into practice whilst still receiving regular check-ins with app support.
*Check in sessions- are shorter sessions where any goal/habits and strategies can be reassessed after a focus session. It's a way of keeping on track and working with the coach to ensure a personalised plan that works for you. As we often find we face challenges on a day o day basis, which can then affect our progress and motivation, check-in sessions are short but powerful way to help you get back on track and feel supported whilst you break through the barriers.
